New timber flooring

Hi, we would like to extend the timber flooring in our 1930's bungalow though a landing area that is currently covered in a wood-like vinyl. The landing area is an add on to the house so I wouldn't expect there to be the same timber flooring below the vinyl as is in the house. So I need a quote for removing the vinyl flooring, adding the timber flooring, and a approximate cost for the timber. The area is 1500 x 2300mm (3.5m2). Also, we would obviously like the flooring to look as close to identical to the existing flooring as possible. Please advise how closely I could expect the new flooring to look to the current timber.
