Removing and replacing chipboard floor underlay

Job description

Flooring Removal
Auckland

Our floor was damaged during the floods six weeks back. The builders assigned by insurance say they can't get to it until July so we're keen to have someone else to do this job. In two rooms the old style chipboard flooring is falling apart and has heaps of holes in it. We have plywood placed over top of it for a temporary measure. We're after someone to rip out the old chipboard flooring and replace it with a modern and water resistant underlay. Other rooms have a modern (I think laminated) chipboard which hasn't swelled so doesn't need to be replaced. At this stage we are really just after timeframes, as we want this done ASAP so we're not standing on plywood and tracking sawdust everywhere. There is also some glue on the chipboard in the other rooms that kept the vinyl flooring attached which will probably need to be sanded off/removed. Insurance would need a quote to be approved before signing off, and you may need to work with the insurance assigned building company for billing and to ensure the price somewhat matches their estimation. That is to be clarified. We do not need the laminate installed at this stage, just the underlay. Living room size - 27m2 roughly Office size - 13m2 roughly

Eddie did a fantastic job removing our flood damaged floor boards and replacing with sturdy modern boards. He was always on time, quick to provide a quote and happy to update the quote to match insurance's needs. His workmanship is fantastic, he really went above and beyond with this job. I'd recommend CarpetWorxPlus to anyone! Thanks Eddie!
