Weetbix floor fix
Job description
I have some small areas where water has turned the particle board flooring into weet-bix. Needs to be cut out and replaced with sound flooring. We may want to overlay with floorboard paneling. About 4 square metres in six places. Most are easily accessible. We could also need a bit of maintenance as there was some water damage on window trim all due to leaking roof and the trim is custom wood.

The costings were for a days work. The job was completed well within the day and I was not overly impressed with the workmanship. We actually took the tiles and carpet off so asked for a discount which came to about 12%. Seeing light through the floor and the ground below showed a lack of boxing, and there were other sections that could/should have been looked at. Was not worth what we paid.

"Unfortunately the owners house was in a very bad way , we quoted to repair three sections of damaged floor as asked . We repaired five sections for the original quoted price and submitted a quotation for the damaged bathroom floor . We unfortunately could not do these for free , as it required the shower and bath to be removed . All work carried out meet the building code of compliance. A very disappointing review from someone we tried to help"
