Small floor sanding job

Two small jobs left to do after our small renovation, a cupboard has been increased in size, leaving the area where the old framing was to be sanded, and a concrete fireplace hearth has been removed and replaced with wood, which now needs varnishing. I am home all day, or such a small job might be fitted in one evening or in the weekend for someone keen to do it.
