Job description

Timber Fencing & Gates
Melling, Hutt Valley

Published: 22 October 2024

Note: We do not have posession of the first property, but measurements could be done from the street. We have a new property we are moving into on 15 November. On the move in date, at a bare minimum we need fencing to be in place (4.21metres) to secure dogs. This fencing near the asphalt could be a dual opening gate. We do not intend to use the gate more than once per year. The pedestrian gate in photo 2 is not longer installed. We understand that the second part of the job (asphalt removal) would require access to the property. In the first photo you will also see asphalt which we want removed and replaced with grass. My mother has mobility issues and will be home each day. We need to ensure the house is fully fenced with with additonal fencing as per the second photo incase the dogs run out of the front door when accessing the driveway. She cannot chase the 4 dogs if they run off. We also have another property which is a townhouse in Avalon that is cladded in hardiplank. A leak exists in the window flashing on the front (as per photo) and there is a panel of water damaged (expanded) GIB board that needs to be replaced (near a lightswitch). There is also a few panels of external hardiplank cladding that needs replacement.

Tom was professional and delivered high quality work across the two properties he worked on. He was able to adapt and undertake additional work at short notice to ensure our plans for our rental remained on track. Highly recommend.
