Repair wood gate & attach baseboard

Our wood gate has a split in it (lower left hand corner in photo) that needs to be repaired. It has been repaired before so we need a repair that will take the wear and tear of the gate opening. We also need a baseboard to be reattached. Prefer to have one quality trades person do both jobs.
