Boundary fencing

Job description

Timber Fencing & Gates
Auckland

Published: 24 February 2013

We require an exterior boundary fence along two road frontages of the property in Grey Lynn. There is a rear section of fencing comprising 30 metres at a height of 1.8m below which we want an retaining wall in timber panels 200 x 50 which are horizontal and allow a stepping of the contour of the section which rises 200mm every 2m. The retaining wall is therefore 600mm at one end of a 2m panel and 400mm at the other end (200 being buried in the ground). The panels are to be built of 70 x 20 dressed pallings with 10mm gaps. The top and bottom railing to be rebated. Posts to be 90 x 90 dressed timeber with caps. The front section of fencing is 20m long at a height of 1.2m constructed as per the rear section but without a retaining wall below the fence. There is a gate to be built in the front fence and one in the rear fence. Work to comprise post hole digging and concreting and full construction with timber to be primed - we will complete final painting. This is a serious job which we are keen to undertake as soon as possible as the section has been cleared of existing wall. We have detailed scale drawing of the work and require a detailed fixed price for the job.
