Small electrical job

I need a plug socked re-located into the attic of our house. Currently we have a socket half way up a wall where a tv used to be mounted. I would like the 2 cables which run from the attic pulled up into the attic and the socket relocated there so I can plug in a light source when in the attic. Wouldn't of thought this would take any longer than 1/2 hour max.
