moving electrical wires

My builders have started their job today of removing our shower unit to install a bath, but have found a whole bunch of wires running through the wall. They are in the way of the cavity door slider we want to install, so they need to be moved, perhaps even extended. We need someone to come as soon as possible to advise and do the work so that they can commence their work.
