General Electrical
Wellington

I'm replacing the existing bath & vanity (and eventually the toilet) and thinking of the plumbing/install in three basic phases (dependant on budget & timing). The phased approach offers some flexibility to tradespeople. Please think of each phase almost as an independant job. I'd also like to replace the old window - open to options, eg aluminium instead of matching wooden framing. Need to put in some type of extractor/heater & new lighting and have a bathroom cabinet to put up too. The plumbing work: Phase 1: Installation of vanity/handbasin & plumbing & waste - in different location from current (after removal of wardrobe to make space - probably do removal myself to keep down costs) Phase 2: replacing existing bath with a new spa bath + overhead shower (bath going in same location, I expect to remove old bath myself to keep costs down). Would require a sparky to wire up the spa bath. Electrical work: required for spa bath + and overhead heater/lighter/fan and maybe lights over the vanity & cabinet Phase 3: (probably happening much much later because of budgets) replace old toilet. Additional/optional building work: replacing existing window, possibility of work for relocating handbasin/vanity. The vanity, taps, shower, mixers, bath, waste, cabinet and hardiglaz are already on site. I'll be doing the finishing myself (eg flooring, painting etc). I'd like quotes broken down by activity & include timing - this will help me understand how much can be over what time and how much I need to do myself. Obviously I'd like to arrange all the electrical work to happen in one hit - at the time the spabath is being wired up.
