Install caravan powerpoint on house exterior

Hi, I need to have a caravan plug installed on an exterior wall of my weatherboard home. The point is about 3 metres from the electrical box in the hallway (straight line) and I will need the socket, cabling and appropriate fuses. I would like 40Amp cabling (even though the socket is rated for 16Amp due to advice that if I want to upgrade in the future it would be easier to. It is for an electric car parked outside my house.
