New house - check out electricity

Hi. We've just bought a 1960 house and settlement date is 8th Dec. We would like to paint our interior walls but thought better get the electricity checked out. The current owners don't know when rewiring was last done or if we actually need to rewire? The property comes with a spa. We would like to get the electricity aspect checked out to see if it's safe. And we would like to install a chandelier and doorbell. So, we're allowed to access the property with an electrician on one Friday. Can you please let me know a suitable day and time? By then, you can tell if the property needs rewiring or not. And do a quote. If rewiring, then the budget is probably over 5k. If no rewiring is required, then definitely a smaller budget.
