Small electrical works

We have been working on a studio in the garage and when i turned the mains power back on in the weekend it blew a light fuse that controls the lighting in the garage and the living room. No other electricals were effected. I am also wanting to install 4 LED lights into the garage ceiling, I don't have the lights yet or the ceiling up so wiring should be easy and i am happy to connect up the lights if the wires are installed and linked back to the switch.
