Modernising/relocating plugs and switches in 1950's house

We are looking to upgrade the plugs, switches and possibly also the wiring in our two story 4 bedroom house (built in the 1950's). Ladder required. I have attached some photos to show some examples. Summary of work required below: Everywhere Modernise plugs and switches Make single plugs doubles Rewiring? Remove redundant wiring Lounge Move high down to above bench Increase number of plugs behind lundia Fix dining room light Bedroom/office Extra plug on wall behind dresser Move switch to right hand side of door Terminate/disconnect hidden wiring above bed. Upstairs landing Remove switch for outdoor light Move outdoor light to a wall light Move ceiling light to centre of staircase void Downstairs landing Connect lobby entrance lights to other two lights Remove switch for outdoor light Fix outdoor light Make an awning outside as well and have a light hanging from it Lineup plug with switches Master bedroom Remove wall light under window Two plugs either side of window spaced apart by queen bed Add one other plug in right bottom of large window Nursery Add a plug under window Remove wall light Move existing plug somewhere more useful Guest bedroom Rotate Plug behind sideboard Add plug in writing desk Move plugs to either side of bed Basement More plugs by washing machine More plugs on wall as you walk downstairs More plugs above workbench Plugs above tool rack
