KITCHEN house is a 1960's house (Paramount Homes) in Kelston, Auckland. kitchen has small bench and sink unit, an adjacent pantry, and a central divider between kitchen and dining area. 1) remove existing kitchen bench, central divider, stove and sink. Remove adjacent pantry. 2) modify a rimu benchtop (in storage) to suit kitchen area. This will require design work to take into account a corner, and make provision for stove (perhaps fitted diagonally across corner?). Benchtop will require widening (gluing contrasting strip front and rear). Old bench length is 1700mm. New kitchen bench will be 2940mm x 2800mm, including stove and new pantry (we will need to discuss plans). 3) repair or replace and fit joinery (we need to discuss what can be re-used from unit in storage). 4) clean up floor, ceiling and walls as necessary. 5) replace stove (we have possible replacement). 6) fit dishwasher drawer (we have this). 7) rangehood - purchase & install. 8) Sink - purchase & install 9) Tapware - purchase & install.
