Several home electrical tasks (repairs and cable running)
Job description
We have a series of electrical tasks needing done around the house. Some of these tasks may cross over into the handyman type of task but let us know if that’s an issue. 1) we have a number of our light switches and a power switch that need some love. Switches not working perfectly (need to be pushed hard) and some loose in their sockets. The installation work from the original builder was not 10/10 We have installed a new TV and need to run a cable likely up into the ceiling space and back down onto a shelf (it has its own proprietary cable) to allow the power cable to be concealed. We have a chandelier we would like raised about a foot (probably more handyman than electrician to be fair). We have an outdoor power socket that we would like swapped to a double (we have the double). Our bathroom fan (switch) had a timer that failed and we had to remove. We would like another installed. The photos aren’t great for context but may help. The switches are either poorly installed or the actual switches and a bit flaky. The television. We would like to have the cable through the wall to where the power is on the shelf. Not shown is how long the cable is (it’s coiled and so is very long). I expect it will have to go up into ceiling and back down. Chandelier should speak for itself. If the other photos would be helpful please ask.
