Security lighting new install of one and repair of another

Hi - we have one existing secur\ity light that only goes during heavy rain (eek) and another that is not going at all. can someone please take a look at these? - we also would like an outside light installed on our front deck. New lights, whole house

Am looking to fully renovate my rental house in Huntly starting in 2 weeks, it is a 3 bedroom 1930's property. Wiring might still be original so a require + switchboard upgrade might also be required. The ceiling is ceiling tiles so a ceiling mounted fitting might be better than downlights but can discuss that with tradesman chosen. Do not have any photos unfortunately, am Based in Auckland but will be going to the house on Tuesday at 5:30-6pm
