Install power plug (provided) underneath desk. Power nearby - light switch visible in photo. Install power under couch to plug surround speakers into. This is a wooden floor situated above the garage (should be able to access power easily in garage). Ideally this would just be an extension cord to a power plug situated in the garage to limit damage to the carpet (hopefully just a hole the size of the power cable).
