Rangehood to be installed, externally venting through roof. On an internal wall, has been mentioned that builder may be required to assess stud/roofing beam situation. Don't want to have to engage multiple people, want one firm who can either do the whole job or arrange other services themselves

But have just discovered this evening when sticking my head in the cupboard to just see how things were (ie. steady as she goes or getting dodgy and needs fast attention) and noticed had been repaired. Turns out, while she was talking to the neighbour over the fence, they had an Electrician there...

Lights needed

We would like a quote to install 7 down lights in our lounge (we have the fittings). There is a current light in the ceiling which we will keep as well as 4 wall lights which we no longer need (not sure if you can use this wiring or not). We would also like our hanging light over our dining room table moved slightly and another one installed at the other end of our dinining table. We have a moderate roof space but will be cosy.

We need a wall hung light shifted to the ceiling in an alcove between two wardrobes. Ceiling cavity easily accessible. We need power points behind bed head resited. One to the hallway directly adjacent to it and the other along the wall a little so that the bed doesn't hit it. We need a power point in the hallway where there is currently not one anywhere near it. The light switch in bathroom is a bit dodgy and does that light over the mirror work if we get a new Fluor bulb? We have a phone line...

Plug for gas fire

Electrical work for newly rinnai gas fireplace. Would like a switch put in the box so as I don't have a cord running out the front to a plug. Installer says the plug will need to be put in before he installs fascia etc. He is installing it Wednesday 2nd March so work will need to be done during the day on Wednesday. Wanting a quote please

Gas connection, fan connection and light connection

We are changing our heating system over to gas and need an electrician on the 18 May to connect the system. We also need an electrician to do the wiring for an bathroom extractor fan. The grills are in. Need to connect the fan to the bathroom switch. Fan has a delay mechanism but no instructions. The third job is to connect a new light on corner of house. There is a length of wire in the ceiling that is live that should reach the corner.

Rangehood installed in kitchen, would have to be ducted through external wall it will be against as there is a beam in the ceiling above the oven so couldn't be ducted through roof. House is stucco, no wall insulation.

Combined exhaust, light & heat unit

I have a rental property in Hastings and the bathroom needs some sort of exhaust installed and vented to the outside. The house built in the 50s' and typical of its error so should have room in the ceiling and to event it through the eves somewhere practical.

House rewire

The house is 130 square meters it has old rubber coated wiring that I would like replaced. The challenges are that it is a flat roof house with about 100 mm to 200 mm cavity. Exploring my options. Option one make holes in celling patch up after. Option two replace celling and put new batons and gib. Or option 3 or 4 ?
