Rectify switchboard (cover cannot be closed), and add a power socket

Two jobs actually. 1) Rectify the main switchboard. An RCD was installed last year but due to limited space the cover can not be fully closed. So I am looking for either finding a way to close it or upgrading the switchboard. 2) New power socket. I recently replaced the old electric cooktop with a gas cooktop, but surprisingly there is no power socket to connect the gas cooktop (the old cooktop was wired up). There is already cable in place, just need to put a socket (or make it like an extension cord)
