Power service line extension

Job description

Underground cabling
Auckland

Published: 24 October 2023

Power service line This job is to extend a (underground) service line for power on our property. We are having landscaping done, with retaining walls. The service line runs from the Vector fuse on the footpath, underground to the mains box on the house. Excavation for the retaining walls to the new finished ground level has exposed the power line, and it needs to be re-buried to 60cm. In order to do this, our landscaper says he will dig a trench, but the line itself needs to be extended as there is insufficient slack to drop it to 60cm. The existing line is not in a conduit. We need an electrician to extend the line so it can be buried to the new depth. Please quote for the electrical work - our current landscaper will dig and fill the trench.

I cannot fault Larry. He did a great job. He was very patient from beginning to end, flexible with dates and times, worked seamlessly with other contractors. and great communication throughout. He even finished the job before expected time. I will not hesitate to use his services again in the future. If you are considering LNR Electrical, definitely go with them as they will not let you down.
