Electrical Renovations & Rewiring
Grafton, Auckland
We’ve had multiple new battery-powered smoke alarms go off randomly in different rooms (including at night and in dry weather).
These are not hardwired, and we’ve ruled out steam, humidity, and dust. We’d like an electrician to inspect for possible causes, including electrical interference, loose wiring, or arcing that could be triggering the detectors.
Would also appreciate advice on placement if anything in the environment might be contributing.
