Hot water cylinder - Rescue or Replace?

Cert confident prof please (I want this done once + done right). Rheems Mains - elec hot water cylinder. Noted drippng @ lower portion of its copper side pipe. Presently the dripping is presently sporadic small droplets. The elec switch nearest said leak - is 'off". Also fuse stopped some time back + also 'off". Yes fuse needs replacing. (Yes you're correct - I am using a kettle for any hot eater atm). Efficient, effective quality workmanship Much Appreciated. (can only wish I knew how to repair these things myself.
