Install kitchen rangehood, ducting and discharge

We have a recirculating kitchen extract and I would like to replace it with a ducted unit discharging to outside. The Cooktop is near the outside wall but not directly against it - there should be a ducting route up into the ceiling and with discharge point on the outside soffit (however this ceiling area is a bit difficult to access). See photos. There is a power outlet next to the existing rangehood that could possibly be used. I can buy the rangehood unit, ducting and grille.
