To install an underground mains line from the roadside boundary to the house. The house is currently served by an overhead power line. Vector have installed a 1 fuse 63 amp ground pit at the roadside boundary for the power line connection. The distance from the boundary ground pit to the house is approximately 35 metres. About 6 metres of this distance is under a concrete drive way. The rest of the distance is under lawn. The new underground power line will need to be extended into the house, and connected to the meter board. The existing overhead power line to the house will need to be decommissioned and removed. In addition to a quote for the underground power line, I would like to know what it would cost to put an extra conduit into the trench with the power cable that could be used in the future for a fibre internet cable.
