Code of Compliance: Electrical Certificate Required

Job description

General Electrical
Auckland

Published: 29 March 2022

In the early 90's, one apartment was split into two, and all the electrical and building work was completed per the plans. A final CCC was never issued however. We are almost at the end of the CCC process with the council, and all we need is an electrical verification that the two apartments have been safely separated and are now independent. From the council: I just need an electrical safety certificate or verification certificate from a registered electrician. I will accept either just which they can provided depends on their licence I believe. It’s really just to confirm that the electrical work in both units is safe to use. How they decide to confirm that is up to them, as I am not an electrician I cant dictate and would assume they know better.
