In recent weeks the bathroom extractor fan has got slower and slower, then intermittent, and now it doesn't work at all. It's 14 years old. Burnt out motor, maybe? The vent is in the bathroom ceiling and exits via ducting through the roof. The house is a wooden villa/bungalow, so there is roof space above the bathroom. Loft access is by ladder through a ceiling panel in another room. This isn't an urgent job, just annoying. As an extra, I'd be interested to know the cost of installing a fan run-on timer at the same time. The current fan switches on and off at the same time as the bathroom light.
