This and that!

Job description

Electrical Repairs
Auckland

Published: 18 October 2014

1. Light switch [water resistant] on side of house which controls 2 floodlights probably requires replacement. Its [one of two] and has a rubber, plunger-type switch which permits lights to remain on for 5 minutes and then switches off automatically 2. 3 x ceiling lights in entrance hallway no longer operate. Suspect disturbance by tradesmen when they installed ceiling insulation about a year ago may be the problem. Doubt however, any requirement to access them from inside the ceiling! 3. Ceiling lights in the lounge ceiling flutter when switched on. Light switch also has a dimmer attached which is no longer required anyway 4. Floodlight on wall in dining area requires replacement - have purchased a new, lesser model but loathe to attempt to rewire it myself. Wire from inside wall looks unfamiliar and heavy-duty! In themselves, these are each minor problems but, together, they are beginning to p... me off and I've left them for so long its time to bring in real men to do complete the job!
