Jack's work was of a good quality, however, he talked a lot and seemed preoccupied with selling us more work than completing the task in hand. We feel that he could have completed the work on the initial call out - a Friday (was on site for well over an hr) but returned on the Saturday (for which he later informed us that he charges a higher rate for Saturday work) without the timber he needed - despite 'viewing the job' the day before. At $290 for 1hr 15mins work we feel Jack is rather expensive, & for this cost we would have expected a higher level of work-efficiency and professionalism. Additionally, Jack walked mud up and down our stairs 2 times and finally took notice when I asked him to stop doing it and take his shoes off (he did not clean up after the job).
