Change electrical light fittings

We have 3 electric lights mounted straight onto the wall (2) and ceiling (1) which we don't like. See the first photo. We would like an electrician to disconnect them, and replace them with standard ceiling light fittings, similar to that shown in the second photo, which we could attach a hanging light shade to. All three new lights would involve new fittings in the ceiling. It would be great if you could also plaster over the old fittings, but we could do that ourselves or get a builder to if necessary.
