While two elements and the oven were being used, there was a short pop sound and the stove (Simpson Cosmos) no longer works. While fitting a light bulb, the old bakelite bayonet surround broke making it impossible to hold the bulb.

David and his trainee arrived on time, sorted the problems and only needed to replace the ceiling light fixture which was done totally satisfactorily.
