Hot water cylinder needs replacing is leaking and isn’t repairable. Old system from 1960s house is 1920s. Has an overhead water tank/cylinder in roof cavity that needs to be deactivated (Not required with new cylinder and is not working well either?) 135litre tank all bits need replacing as well as electrical work - no earth wiring.... have quote from elsewhere. But cost is a factor as this is for a pensioner and $$ are very scarce. Appreciate some help or advice.
