Removal of interior lighting and switches, discuss options for exterior lighting

I have three wall-mounted lights I'd like removed, a few wall switches I'd like removed or consolidated, and a wall socket that I'd like moved to a different circuit. There's also a very small piece of gib repair I need done directly behind and to the side of the circuit board, so either needing advice on how to do that safely or to leave it to a registered electrician to ensure it's completed appropriately. Photo attached of hole to be patched. I also have a few ideas of what I'd like to achieve with exterior lighting but I need information first about what is practical within the constraints of the house.
