Re-wiring 1940s House of 100sqm

Looking to re-wire a 1940s house of about 100sqm. New bathroom installed last year, so I would assume that the wiring in it would be alright. However, other parts of house (1 lounge/1 kitchen/1 hallway/1 laundry/2 bedrooms/1 sunroom) would need re-wiring. Not too sure about the specifics, but looks like the mains switch box/power board would need replacing/upgrade. We would also like to add extra plug points and timer switches. Happy to discuss the details/scope in person and also get advice in terms of future proofing. Flexible with time but would ideally like this done by June/July.
