Install roof ducting for kitchen rangehood

Hi, we are wanting to vent our existing rangehood which is currently just recirculating. It is in an internal wall, so I think vertical ducting through the roof is easiest. The ceiling stud height is relatively low (~2.2m) and there is no attic space so should be able to come out easily on the roof. Roof slopes downwards and is second story, but easily accessed from the second story deck.
