1940's house appears to have been rewired recently. However there is only one powerpoint in each room (or sometimes two) and all are 1970's era. The lounge has two recessed and dim lights. Ideally replace with better solution. Likely to require covering 500mm square holes in ceiling where existing lights removed. House is a do-up or demo. We plan to live there for a year or so before making a firm decision so solutions (more power, more light) needs only be basic/budget.

Jack responded almost immediately to our request and has worked with us to define the scope of our job appropriately. Jack then brought our home's electrics up to a modern standard, taking account of what was already satisfactory to keep costs reasonable.
