Complete Rewiring of a pre 1960s house (1) Power : Remove existing power points : Rewire all VIR Wiring : Refit existing power points : Connect and test (2) Lig --- existing light switches and light fittings : Rewire all VIR wiring to lig --- existing switches and lig --- and test (3) Mains : Replace mains from point of entry to new switchboard : Connect and test (4) Earthing : Upgrade earthing to current regulations (5) Switchboard : Remove old switchboard : Cut in new flush switchboard combined with smart metering : Install new circuit breakers : Install RCDs as required : Connect all circuits and test : Arrange and pay Inspector : Supply Certificate of Compliance
