hot water switch, install fibre cable

Power to the hot water cylinder is not working. It was not working but then began working a couple of days ago after the switch was turned on and off but is now not working again. We think the switch on the powerboard may need changing. Also need a fibre cable putting in the ceiling/wall before the Chorus guys come to do the outside and inside bits. This needs taking from the corner of the house into the house and through the ceiling space (which is too low to get into so would have to be passed through a conduit or something, or perhaps make holes in the ceiling gib) and down through a wall (which doesn't have gib on one side, so is easily accessible). Also to possibly put a powerpoint and phone jack socket in this wall also. Hot water is the most important thing followed by fibre cable/or phone jack. Thanks very much for reading!
