While my roof is being replaced I want to have CA rated LEDs installed (to allow proper insulation) replacing existing downlights, and to take the opportunity to check all the wiring in the ceiling. There are 11 downlights to replace. It should be a straight swap and quick check wiring is ok. If wiring in the ceiling is in poor condition or perished can be repaired when roof is replaced. I also want a pendant light in the dining room replaced with a new light that I have. i have just been told that they want to schedule the reroof for Wednesday 24 January (subject to weather) so it is a very tight timeframe.
