Replace the ceiling down light fitting.

One ceiling light fitting stopped working. At closer inspection, it seems the metal point in the middle is deformed, so the light bulb can't make a contact, therefore the fitting has to be replaced. The access is from inside the house into the roof cavity and should be a straightforward job. The roof cavity has been insulated so the electrician will need to be careful when walking there, but as per fire safety legislation, the space around the fitting was left non-insulated, and should be easy to locate.
