I need an exhaust fan to be installed in the ceiling of our en-suite bathroom. There is no roof cavity so the fan will need to exhaust directly through the roof structure into the atmosphere. There are two possible positions for the fan - the 1st would mean exhausting through the tiled part of the roof, the 2nd to exhaust through a section of the en-suite ceiling/roof construction that is plywood and covered by a waterproof membrane. Electrical connection should not be a problem but the en-suite is located in the top storey of our home so OHS factors need to be considered as some outside work will be required I believe to complete the installation successful and safely
