Initially wanted to just change faceplates of old switches, but have found out the house may need rewiring as it looks like it's old rubber wire (not sure of correct terminology). There isn't space to move around in the ceiling as it's one of those old tiles ceilings from the 1960s, so best option to rewire may be to lift up parts of roof which looks to be decramastic tile. House is only 67 m2, 2 bedrooms. We aren't putting in new locations for powerpoints etc, just wanting to update existing ones. What would be basic cost?

John did a great job replacing my old faceplates and adding in some new plug-in circuit breakers. his work is tidy and even went the extra mile ensuring outisde wearing was encased in proper tubing. Really easy to liaise with - communicated really well on everything. I would use him again for any other electrical work that needs to be done around my house. Thank you John!
