Switchboards
Auckland

Potentially 3 jobs here: Woke up with the fridge off and a room with no power from the sockets. Current switchboard contains both fuses and circuit breakers. One circuit breaker wouldn't stay in the ON position (however we are not sure what it was like before), and also there are several fuses in there which we don't know if they are even still being used. Need an electrician to find out if the circuit breaker is broken so it won't stay on, or the wiring inside the house is faulty. Also want quote for determining which fuses are in use, and the cost replace them with circuit breakers if this is the recommended approach. Current switchboard status: Circuit Breakers: 1x 10A 2x 20A (one won't stay ON) Fuses: 2x 5A 5x 10A 2x 20A 1x 30A Also got a circular fluorescent ceiling light that doesn't always turn on when you flick the switch. Not sure if the ballast needs replacing or the wall switch is faulty. If we leave the switch in the ON position for several minutes, the light does eventually turn on. For this job, please provide quote to fix the switch, to replace the ballast, or to change the light fitting to something else, eg. install a E22 socket. Lastly, 6 wall sockets are old and one of them is a bit loose, not sure if they need to be replaced. So a quote for just changing out 6 working wall sockets.
