Window leaking from poor outdoor gutter seal

Aluminium Repair & Maintenance Khandallah, Wellington

5.0

Regan truly exceeded our expectations. He was the only person who (on the first visit) climbed up to inspect the window leak situation on a tricky slope, and gave an informed recommendation + quote on how to fix the leak. Communication was very prompt and to the point. He went out of his way to source some rubber seals for the window, and fixed a few minor issues around the house at a reasonable price (after communicating about it). Really impressed with his attention to detail and craftmanship.

Window replacement, 1st floor

New Aluminum Doors & Windows Hataitai, Wellington

4.0

After accepting the job I had to chase them a few times to get updates. The start date was delayed about a month from the initial agreement, so it would have been nice if they were more pro-active with communication. The job was completed to a good standard, on budget, and they were able to allocate additional time to handle un-planned work when there were weathertightness issues identified outside of the initial scope. Overall happy. Thank you Guri and team for the new windows.

Tavis was great to work with - excellent communication. End result on all the windows was as per quoted/discussed. There was a slight delay but that was nothing to do with Tavis - something else was required that we didn't factor into the work.

Old French doors are leaking.

Timber Repair & Maintenance Ngaio, Wellington

4.0

Peter had a look at the leaking French doors and identified a cause of the leak, and a couple of other possible contributory causes. He fixed the main cause and said we'd have to see if that stopped the leak completely, and if not investigate other potential causes. He was clear about what needed to be done and about the possibility of other work that might need doing. He came when he said he was going to and kept in contact. The leak appears to have stopped so far.

Repair sliding door

New Aluminum Doors & Windows Tawa, Wellington

5.0

Job was to help me re-hang a *very heavy* sliding door between our kitchen and living room. Yusuf was professional in shifting our furniture to get the door down (we're too old to handle the weight of the door), and shifted the furniture back into place after getting the door down. Yusuf undertook to find new wheels for mounting the door on. This was unsuccessful, so we agreed to terminate the contract at that point, at a mutually agreed price. Very happy with Yusuf's help.

Gap in sliding door

Aluminium Repair & Maintenance Highbury, Wellington

4.0

James is friendly & knowledgeable, he was able to quote repairs and upgrades on a variety of jobs we needed doing, The rates were very competitive. We initially asked James around to look at a gap in our sliding door and he ended up fixing our spouting instead! The Gforce team have their own scaffolding which made their quote more competitive than other companies we approached for the same work.

Trim timber doors after new carpet laid

Timber Repair & Maintenance Ngaio, Wellington

4.0

He had the right equipment and was able to neatly trim the doors, which were veneer but didn't split. He did have trouble with the hinges on one door. I didn't know exactly how many doors needed doing until after the carpet was laid, and he was flexible in this regard. Fairly neat and tidy. Didn't seem to get messages through Builderscrack, but responsive on the celllphone.

I highly recommend James and his company Maintain or Build Ltd.
