Replace rotten board under window, 2nd floor

I just noticed this piece is quite eroded and rotten. Hopefully it hasn't spread. Hoping to get someone who is familiar with this problem and qualified of course. So the job would be to replace that piece and evaluate whether anything else needs doing. Hopefully easy enough and quick for someone experienced with this. I have a scaffold to access the area, shown in the photos.
