Bifold door reno

We need someone to look at our bifold doors and tell us whether they need maintenance or replacement. Our home has five sets of large bifold doors which are all about 17 years old. The rubber is perishing, the doors no longer slide smoothly and some are difficult to unlock. We are interested in quotes for repair but if replacement is a better option we would look at this too.

Bi fold door maintanence.

2 bi fold doors either side of lounge area (each with 4 panes of verticals glass and aluminum frame) need maintanence and general repair to make them run smoothly again.

Ranch slider installation

We are looking for a quote to replace a window (1860mm W x 900mm H) with an aluminium ranch slider. The ranch slider will be a second-hand one (which we haven't yet sourced). There is no urgency to doing this job and we will obviously need to purchase a ranch slider first. The exterior cladding on the house is wood.

Tricky sliding door

Our front entrance is a sliding door and we have issues with both the latch and the ball bearings which are making it increasingly difficult to open/close the door. I would appreciate someone taking a look and seeing if there is an easy fix, or if we need a new latch/locking mechanism installed.

Hallway way door to be hung

Doorway to walk-in closet

We need a doorway put in between two rooms. The doorway will need to be created, meaning tearing down a partial wall and potentially moving wires. Also a light switch needs to be moved.

This is an ongoing job to re-hang replacement doors in their aluminium frame and re-fit hardware. The door could be timber, aluminium or fibreglass and will come made to the exact size and would normally be machined out for hardware. Depending on your skills or what you prefer to do, we may get you to do jobs like replacing parts of the doors or repairing certain areas if the whole door does not need re-fitting and replacing.

We have recently moved into an ex state house. It has a 'kind of' external toilet and laundry area which is accessed through a small recessed porch. This area is part of the house and under the roof. At the moment for security we need to unlock the kitchen door and then unlock the laundry to get into the area. Window stays to aluminium joinery

New aluminium windows installed however have been told the window openings are off centre??? Wanting to install window stays (2) per window but have been told only 1 stay can be installed by a reputable company. Am unsure if by only having one stay per window if the window is secure enough.
