Deadbolt installation

I would like to add a deadbolt to the front as well as a more secure lock to the back/ laundry door. Front door had some kind of deadbolt on it and the actual lock is still there around the doorknob on the front of the door. This makes it tricky to replace a new deadbolt/ lock. Back door has a key that is turned to open the door and a very basic latch. Not very secure. Also lots of gaps in both doors where heat can escape in winter so they need solutions for blocking the heat escape. I've considered replacing a whole new back door, so it may be worthwhile to do that rather than repairs on it. I hope a tradie can advise best, most cost efficient and sustainable solutions.
