aluminium window latch mounting screws loose as holes now too large

My 15 year old bottom mounted single window latch on a very small double glazed window is failing. The bottom mounted screws are loose because the holes in the aluminium channel are now too loose. Window needs to be removed to allow work on the frame where the fixing screws are located.
