New Concrete strip for sliding gates

Job description

General Concreting
Waikato

I am looking for a subcontractor to lay a new concrete strip for a pair of sliding gates for a job in Cambridge. It would be approximately 300mm wide and approximately 12m in total length. The middle 5.8m is through an existing concrete driveway which would need to be cut out (either as part of your quote or I can do myself depending on cost). The new concrete pad needs to be one consistent level right across its length with its edges flowing into the existing concrete levels for the middle section where the driveway is (existing driveway is sloped in parts). The outside edges are current lawn / garden so nice easy digging. Hopefully the two pictures will show enough detail to prevent the need for a site visit (if not it can be arranged but I do live out of town). The new strip will be on the inside of the property (ie not the asphalt side of the existing fences). Trying to get quoted/finalized quickly as wanting to install the gates before the end of the month.

The quality of work done was initially poor. To his credit Ron did come back the next day to redo the job as requested and to a good standard the second time around. The job was time sensitive as discussed with him at time of quoting. There were multiple delays with machinery issues but frustratingly updates were only received after calling Ron. Unfortunately problems can arise from time to time but thankfully Ron was prompt at coming back to rectify it. Thank you.

"i worked for a contractor in this case and was trying to work to his schedule there was pressure to get this done by a certain date , because iof thios i was put into a position of having to use an inferior product when a superior product had been suggested and would havwe ment a two day delay this was over the weekend , the contractor opted for the inferior product and as a result the final finish was not as per schedule this resulted in a remove and replace ( with the superior product ) this was done the day after i received the feed back and i think we both learnt from this that less haste some times means less waste"
