New Driveway

I have a driveway which is approx 100m long. We are not sure which is cheaper. Laying 2 asphalt strips or a single strip wide enough for a car. The driveway is 5m wide. We also require asphalt to be laid on an area of approx 100 square metres. Also, is there anything cheaper than asphalt? thanks
